Off the Luera, Blue Mountain

Leura, Blue Mountain...

First hour in the train.. Cool and Steady..

Started to yawn... For few times.. Huhuh...

Here I Go.. To the Wonderland.. Btw, i looked cute when i was sleeping rite? huhu..

Finally, arrived in Leura..

As promised, On 29th May 2009, i slept at 4 am and woke up at 8 am... We worked really hard practising our zapin and joget. And 11 am, we left Macquarie University Village to take the train to Strathfield.. Then, we had to change our train to go the Luera... Gosh, i slept all the way to Luera because i didnt get enough sleep last night.. It was time for a payback.. Btw, it took around two and a half hour to reach there.. Do you know how long was that journey.. huhu... Once we arrived, it was really cold.. i could feel that all my fingers were numb and shivering... my face was very dry.. Gosh.. i didnt expect that it could this cold.. 4 to 8 degree celcius!!

Actually, last week was the busiest and healthiest day of the week. Usually, i would rather stay in my room surf on the internet, doing my assingments or tutorial tasks, but last week i was totally beccome another person.. huhauha.. Maybe because of stress, with my study and things back in Malaysia, so, i decided to go out and have fun...

Last Monday, i had a traditional dance practice because some of my friends and I were going to perform in Blue Mountain for Malaysian Night.

Then, on Tuesday, we playad futsal... My team won 6 -1 with me scored 3 goals... huhuh...

Then Wednesday, credit to Hanafi for booking the squasy court, we played squasy. I won 6-2 to Imran, 6-1 to Mimie and no competition happened between me and Hanafi because he was one of the experts.. So, i better be well-prepared before i asked him for a showdown. LOL..

Then, Thursday, last rehearsal for the dance performance...

Friday, off to Luera, Blue Mountain for the dance performance...

Right after we had a dinner at Sharlom.. We were rushing to Darling Harbour.. afraid of not being there on time to watch fireworks.. The first fireworks we watched in Sydney.. Can you imagine how horrible my condition at that time.. with a big full stomach, i had to walk fastor even run to the place.. And thanks to God that we got there just on time.. By the time we put our feet in Darling Harbour's land, the fireworks show started.. We enjoyed watching the fireworks and being amazed by the beauty of the fireworks... The fireworks were kinda significant to us who are going to be a teacher in future, sacrifice ourselves just to see our students excel in life (dani, stop pretending to be a teacher.. not yet.. njoy ur life as a student first k...) Well, HAPPY TEACHERS DAY to all teachers in this world..

16 May 2009, we celebrated Teachers Day as well as the 50th anniversary of Darling Harbour in Sydney City. All Macquarians decided to go to Sharlom, one of the Indonesian restaurant in the city.. I loved it.... Since I like to eat spicy food like sambal and curry, this restaurant was a perfect place for me.. With the reasonable and affordable prices, all the dishes were delicious.. I ordered two dishes instead of one when most of my friends shared one dish for two people... You can see how crazy I was right? Haha... I kinda pity some of my friends who cannot finish their dishes because it was too spicy and hot... All they needed that that time were tissues and cold water.. Huhuh... However we all enjoyed eating in Sharlom..

Having Fun in Flo's House...

Well. nothing much for this post.. Just we often eat in Izzaidah's house, so this time around, Flo decided to cook something for us.. There we go... Flo made bihun lakna.. Which was superb.. (after i said put more black pepper because i like it spicy)... huhauha... The dishes for that night were instant cake and bihun lakna... See, who says we cannot cook Malaysian food in Aussie land? It has been proven to be wrong...

Picnic @ Waterloo Park

Another way of release stress and for us to hang out and have fun... Who says we can have fun? It takes about 5 minutes to go to Waterloo Park.. For the picnic, we brought cekodok and pisang goreng... Yummy...

Flo read the horoscope from one of the magazines that she brought along. Everyone was attentively listening to Flo.. Some of us were kinda hoping the good things stated in book will come true. Well, im in opinion that it wont work for me because all the things that have been stated in the magazines were totally contradicting my real situation... Nahh.... You should not believe in this kind of thing.. Just go with the flow of your life and expect the unexpected... Then only your life will be great and enjoyable...

Burfday Party...

The only way to gather all Macquarians/Ipbarians together is through birthday party.. It is kinda a custom that we apply to tighten our friendship... There were two birthday party for this month.. Suhanis and Hanani's birthday parties.. Well, as usual.. lots of food... Yummy!! Then, we chat about everything... Well, although it was kinda typically done, but it was still a brilliant idea to keep us together, laugh out loud together and joke about anything that could function as a mean to release our stress for being geeks for the last three months... huhuh...

Here I Go Again...

Again... I apologized profusely for not being able to update my blog for about one month.. too many ups and downs... hopefully, my apology is being accepted. besides, my life was very hectic considering that there were lots of stuffs need to be completed. Sigh... When can i ever get a good rest? Nah.. no points of whining... Just keep moving on... Right? OK... Since, i was not able to update for quite a long time, thus, for sure i have lots of things to share with all you... Wait for another post ok?! Cheers...
